I'm more aligned with a "Fair Tax" kind of system that would allow Americans to thrive through thrift, but still pay taxes on the luxury purchases to support the military. As far as government spending and paying the salaries of our officials, I think we should go back to our roots and make all political jobs volunteer positions in which no donations can be accepted. If our founders knew of the exorbitant salaries we now pay our politicians, not to mention the "contributions," they would likely have ripped the constitution to shreds and started over. I wonder how long we will be forced to endure this socialist propaganda before people become sick of being poor (as all but the politicians will soon be) and vote in some true conservatives to breathe life back into our system. You don't have to work hard, you don't have to innovate, everyone is simply made equal. Republicans are too socialist for my taste. I don’t think we should have taxes. Period.
